Barnsley defender Antony Kay has been fined and dropped for the last match of the season following a series of breaches of club disciplinary rules.
The 24-year-old will play no part in the Tykes' clash with West Brom on Sunday after repeatedly flouting the club's policy regarding alcohol.
"Barnsley can confirm that Antony Kay has been omitted from the squad for Sunday's Championship match at West Brom," confirmed a club statement.
"Barnsley manager Simon Davey has also fined the 24-year-old for repeatedly breaking the club's non-drinking policy.
"No further comment will be made on this issue."
