Jamal off Tykes spot-kick duty
The diminutive winger missed a spot kick in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest last Saturday before having a tame effort from 12 yards saved to deny the Tykes a point in the derby with Sheffield United on Tuesday night - both misses could prove costly in the survival scrap. The 26-year-old has scored eight times this season, but he will no longer be stepping up to the spot after three success from five penalty attempts. "Jamal has taken himself off penalty duty," Davey told the club's official website. "He made the decision the other night before we had the chance to talk to him."
