Hassell revelling in return to action

Hassell has been restricted to eight league appearances this season due to a long-term Achilles problem, but returned after nearly three months out in the recent win at Blackpool and clinched the Tykes a well-deserved point on Saturday.[LNB]Hassell said: "I'm really sharp at the minute. I've been out through injury and I've had to wait for my chance, but hopefully the way I played against Newcastle has given the gaffer a headache for next week."[LNB]The 29-year-old almost scored his first goal of the season at Blackpool, only for his late header to be attributed as an own goal after deflecting off Blackpool midfielder David Vaughan, but there were no doubts about his equaliser against Newcastle.[LNB]Hassell added: "I'd been back all game, but I gambled on going up front and luckily scored. It came off the side of my head, but they all count."[LNB][LNB]
