Ex-loanee back at Oakwell

Former loanee Marlon Harewood will train at Barnsley from Monday according to reports on Twitter.

Radio Sheffield reporter Paul Walker tweeted: "Hearing that Marlon Harewood will train with Barnsley from Monday."

Harewood has been training with South Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield Wednesday for some time but the reports suggest that he hasn't done enough to earn a deal at Hillsborough.

32-year-old Harewood spent three months on loan with Barnsley last year, scoring four times in ten appearances. Since then he has played for Chinese outfit Guangzhou R&F and had a short spell with Nottingham Forest last season.
