Barnsley striker Andy Gray has more reason to celebrate about being named in the official Football League Championship Team of the Week….

........The 33 year old scored the 100th and 101st goals of his career on Saturday as he fired The Reds to a 2-0 home win over Coventry and that feat has been recognised by his inclusion in the Team of the Week.

Gray is joined “up front” in that team by ex Oakwell loan ace Michael Chopra who also scored twice for Ipswich in a 3-1 victory over Brighton.

Meanwhile former Barnsley trainee Jordan Rhodes who has gone on to forge a good career with Huddersfield makes it into League One’s Team of the Week after scoring his fifth and sixth goals of the season to extend the Terriers incredible unbeaten league run to 36 matches with a 4-0 win at Brentford, and another ex Reds striker, Marc Richards- who was joint top scorer when Barnsley won promotion from League One in 2005-2006- makes into the League Two Team of the Week after scoring both Port Vale goals in a 2-0 success over Rotherham.
