Palace boss set to jump ship

This evening's opponents for Barnsley, Crystal Palace, may be without manager Dougie Freedman after it was revealed he is set to take over at Bolton.

The 38-year-old Scot has led the Eagles to 4th in the npower Championship after a run of eight games without a defeat (W6, D2) but he may not be in the dugout at Oakwell tonight.

He is set to take the reigns at the Reebok Stadium after the sacking of Owen Coyle at the beginning of this month after a poor start to the season and it looks as though Freedman will be tasked with the job of leading them back to the Premier League.
