Foster set for scan

Barnsley are awaiting the results of a scan to discover the extent of Stephen Foster`s muscular injury. The key central-defender was playing his first game back since recovering from a shin wound when he was forced off with a muscle problem in his leg shortly after half-time in Saturday`s 1-1 draw with Ipswich. Manager Mark Robins is hoping it is nothing serious ahead of this weekend`s trip to Portsmouth. "I could do with not losing him, he's done really well this season," Robins told The Star. "He couldn't continue on Saturday and we've booked him in for a scan to see how serious the injury is. "Hopefully his injury is not a bad one, it's never good to lose any player through injury, especially Stephen because he's only just come back to the side." Elsewhere, the Tykes are now on the lookout for a new shirt sponsor from next season after Barnsley Building Society ended their lengthy relationship with the club.
