Scott Flinders will continue in goal for Barnsley's home clash with Scunthorpe due to the continued absence of the injured Nick Colgan.
Colgan picked up a shoulder injury during the 3-0 win at Swindon two weeks ago and has still not fully recovered from the problem.
It is not a major problem as Flinders has put in two fine performances against Bradford in the FA Cup last week and Tranmere in the midweek 2-1 win.
Boss Andy Ritchie said: "Nick is struggling, but the way Scottie played the other night I don't think we have a problem."
Meanwhile, skipper Paul Reid is back in the reckoning for a start after recovering from a neck injury, but he must oust Antony Kay and Matt Carbon for a slot in the middle of the back four.
