Inverness boss in the frame?

Former England defender Terry Butcher is now the odds on favourite to be the next Reds manager after Sean O'Driscoll turned down the chance to take over.

The 54-year-old is currently manager of Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle but could be persuaded to move south to take over the reigns at Oakwell.

Singapore born Butcher represented England on 77 occasions in an international career that spanned ten years. He also played for Ipswich and Rangers, clocking up over 450 appearances between them.

He has managed Coventry, Sunderland, Australian side Sydney FC, Motherwell and Brentford before taking over at Caley Thistle in 2009 and achieving relative success north of the border.

He currently sits as odds-on favourite with SkyBet and BetVictor at 8/13 and 4/6 respectively. Neil Redfearn and current caretaker David Flitcroft are next in the betting.
