Edwards Set To Become Number Seven
Defender set to sign BBC Radio Sheffield has reported that the Reds are set to sign free agent defender Rob Edwards. The 29-year-old centre-back began his career with Aston Villa and made eight appearances at Villa Park before moving onto Wolves where he spent four successful years, clocking up over a century of appearances. In 2008 he moved to Blackpool and made 67 appearances, including one in 'Pool's only season in the Premier League. He spent the back end of last season at Norwich City and helped them to promotion.
