Duo missing for Tykes

Barnsley are expected to be without Jim O'Brien and Goran Lovre for the clash at Bristol City. O'Brien, a summer signing from Motherwell, has yet to make his debut due to a thigh injury but was hoping to return to full training this week. Lovre, signed from FC Groningen in June, suffered a whiplash-type injury after being knocked out in the closing stages against Crystal Palace last week. But manager Mark Robins has been given plenty to think about following the reserves' thumping 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, with Jeronimo Neumann scoring twice and another summer signing, Liam Dickinson, also on the scoresheet. Winger Martin Devaney and midfielder Jacob Butterfield started on the substitutes' bench against Palace but are also pushing for recalls.
