Barnsley's summer signing Liam Dickinson was among the scorers as the Tykes cruised to a 3-0 win in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Walsall.
Andy Gray opened the scoring for Barnsley in the first half and Martin Devaney and Dickinson added further goals in the second period.
The Tykes travel to York on Tuesday for a pre-season friendly encounter.
