Dicko delighted to realise dream

Dickinson, on loan from Stoke, refused to listen to the advice of both his manager and team-mates when he got hold of the ball to take an injury-time And thankfully for the left-back, his 20-yard effort took a deflection on its way into the net to secure the Tykes a last-gasp win.

Dickinson said: "A few of the players were trying to get the ball off me, but I had it in my head that I was going to take it and lucky for me it went in.

"Funnily enough I said to the lads in training when we were going through set-pieces and they were giving me some stick, 'Do you know what, I'll get a goal tomorrow.'

"I just went crazy. It's the best feeling ever to get my first goal and hopefully I can get a few more in the not-too-distant future."
