Devaney hoping for cup spirit

Easter Monday's 3-1 defeat at home to Swansea left Simon Davey's men in a perilous position just above the relegation zone, and they only remain out of the bottom three on goal difference. And Devaney is hoping that his side can call upon the displays they produced in last season's FA Cup run to help them pull away from danger. "We can take heart from our displays in the FA Cup last season, even though there has been a few changes to the team since then," he told the club's official website. "We have some new players in and it is time for everybody to step up to the plate and deliver. "It is frustrating for everybody but we have to put everything to one side and concentrate on getting the points we need from the remaining matches. "Everybody has to pull in the right direction and get right behind the manager, team and club."
