Barnsley's rookie boss Simon Davey has shared the praise around, despite masterminding the club's escape from relegation in the Championship.
Davey took charge in November following the axing of Andy Ritchie and guided the Oakwell side to safety on the back of three wins in their last four games.
He told the Sheffield Star: "From day one when I was appointed we were up against it, second from bottom.
"Andy Ritchie was a popular figure at Barnsley and to step into his shoes was a big thing to do.
"He gained promotion last year, but I've never once thought that I couldn't do the job. We've lifted ourselves from second from bottom to fifth from bottom.
"It was always going to be tough, we were playing against clubs with big budgets and big traditions and some who've come out of the Premiership.
"For myself, this is a great achievement for my staff and the players."
