Davey hails double deal
04 Jul 2007 - 07:14:25
Barnsley manager Simon Davey has hailed the signings of Sheffield United's Rob Kozluk and German defender Dominik Werling as major deals for the club.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kozluk turned down a new deal at Bramall Lane to join the Tykes on a two-year contract, while Werling moves to Oakwell from Turkish side Sakaryaspor.
Davey told the club's official website: "We have pulled off a massive coup to bring Rob to Oakwell.
"He did wonderfully well in the Premier League for Sheffield United last season and we are delighted to have him here.
"Dominik is a player we have watched closely and we are very happy to have been able to bring him to Oakwell.
"He desperately wants to play in the Championship for Barnsley and he will strengthen our squad for the new season."
