Davey hits out at red tape blow
The 25-year-old midfielder has joined on a season-long loan from Serie B outfit Reggina but has not received international clearance.
Hallfredsson was unable to play in Tuesday's defeat to Preston and Davey is getting fed up with the situation.
"I'm at a loss with it to be honest," Davey told the Sheffield Star.
"We've been on the phone to the English FA, we've been trying to get hold of the Italian FA, but nothing is being pushed through.
"I think the two FAs are just doing things in their own time, which doesn't help us!"
