Davey disappointed with drab showing

The Tykes clinched their first win in six league matches with last Tuesday's 1-0 win at Hillsborough, but had to settle for a point from a goalless draw against struggling Charlton at Oakwell on Saturday.[LNB]Davey said: "The conditions were poor out there and both teams were scrappy.[LNB]"It was one of those drab and dour games to be fair and there was not a lot of football played. Of course you always want to play exciting football and we know that we have not played well. We had an off 90 minutes in terrible conditions.[LNB]"It was pleasing to get a point but we are not happy that we have not played well. Charlton had eight players behind the ball and defended well.[LNB]"We had missed opportunities, but we know that we have not played well. We have ground out a result and on a different day we could have won it. A point was probably fair."[LNB][LNB]
