Cup woe for injured Tykes

Barnsley's preparations for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Cardiff City have been rocked with a double injury blow to Steve Foster and Daniel Nardiello. Defender Foster and striker Nardiello are both expected to miss the Wembley date with the Bluebirds after picking up injuries in training. Foster was one of the scorers as the Tykes dumped Liverpool out of the competition after a 2-1 fifth-round upset at Anfield in February. "Stephen has a badly bruised foot. It is very unfortunate for him but he will not be fit in time for Sunday," manager Simon Davey told the club's official website. On Nardiello, he added: "Daniel pulled up in training on Monday with a hamstring problem. "He probably has a 30 per cent chance of being fit."
