Since then The Reds have drawn three and lost four of the subsequent seven meetings. The two sides met in cup combat last season with Swansea knocking Barnsley out at the Third Round stage of the FA Cup back in January. The two sides have met once before in the League Cup. A two legged affair in the 1981/82 season saw Barnsley triumph 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-0 home win and 3-2 away defeat. Swansea have won each of their last three matches, all without conceding a goal. They are also one of only three teams still with a 100% record in the Premier League.
