Barnsley sign Hallfredson on loan

Barnsley have agreed to sign midfielder Emil Hallfredsson on a season-long loan from Italian Serie A side Reggina.The 25-year-old Icelandic international has previously had spells with Tottenham Hotspur, Swedish club Malmo and Norwegian side Lyn Oslo. Reds manager Simon Davey told the club website: "Emil has joined us on loan for the season and we are delighted.
