New-look Tykes to face Yeovil

Barnsley's new signings Alex Kiwomya, George Waring, Milan Lalkovic and Ben Pearson could all be included in their squad for the home game against Yeovil.

Chelsea striker Kiwomya, ineligible for last week's FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough after arriving on loan, is in contention, while Stoke's 6ft 5in forward Waring and Manchester United midfielder Pearson are also hoping to make their debuts.

Former Chelsea youth player Lalkovic, who has signed an 18-month deal after his release from Czech Republic side FK Mlada Boleslav, is also in contention.

Midfielder James Bailey returned to the bench last week following a foot injury and could feature, but striker Sam Winnall remains sidelined due to a hamstring problem.

Yeovil make the trip without two of the players that were involved against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Glovers, rock-bottom of League One, said goodbye to loanees Ryan Inniss and Tom Eaves this week as the pair returned to their parent clubs and that means at least two changes to the squad that was beaten 2-0 by the Red Devils.

Joe Edwards and Kieffer Moore both returned to action after injury and could keep their places in the side, despite the latter picking up a first-half head injury.

The Glovers have lost their last four games in all competitions.
