Etuhu set to miss Wolves clash

Barnsley are expected to be without midfielder Kelvin Etuhu when they face Wolves at Oakwell on Tuesday.

The former Manchester City youngster sustained a broken nose when he clashed heads with Adam Chicksen during the Tykes' 3-1 win over MK Dons in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Etuhu, who received treatment on the pitch for seven minutes before being substituted off, looks set to miss out on Tuesday, with Jim O'Brien his most likely replacement.

Otherwise, manager David Flitcroft is unlikely to make any further changes to his starting XI.

Striker Jason Scotland, who has stepped off the substitutes' bench in his side's last four matches, is in contention to make his first start for the club.

Stephen Ward is expected to shrug off illness and keep his place for Wolves, with new loan capture Jack Robinson set to take his place on the bench.

Left-back Ward played the full 90 minutes on Saturday as Wolves drew 0-0 at Derby but duly missed training on Monday struggling with illness.

On the same day, manager Dean Saunders was also putting the finishing touches to Robinson's loan move from Liverpool although the player, 19, is not expected to replace Ward, who should recover in time to start at Oakwell.

Kevin Foley and Jamie O'Hara are both battling to overcome knocks picked up at the weekend but also expect to be fit.

There is further good news for boss Dean Saunders, who is still awaiting his first win in charge of Wanderers, as centre-back Roger Johnson returns from his three-match suspension.
