Ramage missing for Barnsley

Barnsley will be without on-loan defender Peter Ramage against Bournemouth due to a back injury.

Ramage, on loan from Crystal Palace, sustained the injury during the warm-up before Saturday's defeat at Leicester, so replacement Tom Kennedy is expected to continue and should return to the starting line-up.

Under-pressure boss David Flitcroft made six changes for the weekend defeat at Leicester, handing on-loan pair Jack Butland and David Fox their debuts.

Stoke goalkeeper Butland stepped in for Luke Steele (back) and Fox started in place of skipper Stephen Dawson in central midfield. Striker Marcus Pedersen (foot) remains sidelined after missing the last four matches.

Jobi McAnuff and Nick Blackman could return for Reading.

Winger McAnuff has not played since mid-August due to an ankle injury and striker Blackman missed Saturday's win over Birmingham with a swollen knee, but boss Nigel Adkins hopes to have both available.

Garath McCleary took a whack on the ankle which forced him off against the Blues and will be checked over while fellow midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu also limped off, but that was only cramp.

Danny Williams and Royston Drenthe (both foot) are likely to miss out again along with long-term absentees Jem Karacan (knee), Mikele Leigertwood (ankle) and Jason Roberts (hip).
