Hassell back for Tykes Barnsley defender Bobby Hassell returns from suspension to give manager Keith Hill an extra option for the clash with Ipswich at Oakwell. Hassell has missed the last three games following his straight red card in the home win over Bristol City. But Hill has no new injury or suspension worries and following last Saturday's 5-0 win at Birmingham is unlikely to make any changes, so Hassell may have to make do with a place on the substitutes' bench. Defender John Stones (ankle) is not expected to return, but former Liverpool winger Toni Silva (knee) could be included in the squad for the first time since his arrival in the summer. Jim McNulty will further boost Hill's defensive options when he returns to full training on Monday, while the club have confirmed summer signing Mido (ruptured hamstring) could be back in action in around four weeks. Defender Rob Edwards (hamstring) and midfielder Jim O'Brien (dislocated shoulder) remain long-term absentees. Paul Taylor and Michael Chopra will again miss out for Ipswich. Taylor has been ruled out for at least six weeks with a broken bone in his foot while Chopra continues to sit out with a thigh strain. Both missed last weekend's 2-1 home defeat to Charlton and under-pressure boss Paul Jewell, robbed of his first-choice strike partnership, will once more turn to the likes of Jason Scotland, Daryl Murphy, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Nathan Ellington. Loan signing Danny Higginbotham made his debut as a late substitute against the Addicks and the Stoke defender is likely to start this time around. Jewell is battling for his managerial future at Ipswich after five defeats from the last six games.
