Etuhu blow for Reds

Barnsley manager David Flitcroft is expected to be without Kelvin Etuhu again for the home game with Charlton.

Etuhu missed the midweek draw at Cardiff with a hamstring injury sustained at Crystal Palace last week and was replaced in the starting line-up by Jim O'Brien.

O'Brien is hoping to continue, but midfielder Tomasz Cywka stepped off the bench at Cardiff and is pushing for a recall, as is striker Chris Dagnall.

Flitcroft has no other new injury or suspension problems, but defenders Martin Cranie (hamstring), Jimmy McNulty (ankle) and Rory Delap (calf), plus striker Reuben Noble-Lazarus (ankle) all remain sidelined and left-back Scott Golbourne is out due to a long-term knee injury.

The Tykes, two points above the relegation zone, have lost only one of their last six matches.

Charlton will check on the progress of defender Leon Cort.

The centre-half is recovering from the knee injury which has kept him out since the beginning of March, but Saturday's Oakwell clash may come too soon.

Midfielder Danny Hollands is still out with a fractured metatarsal but Addicks boss Chris Powell has no new injury concerns.

Powell could stick with the side which beat Leeds 2-1 last weekend, although that came courtesy of a late goal by substitute Jon Obika, who is now pushing for a start.

Fellow striker Danny Haynes could return to the squad after missing out against Leeds.

The Addicks picked up seven points from their three games last week to take them seven clear of the drop zone.
