No new worries for Tykes

Managerless Barnsley have no new injury or suspension problems to contend with for their FA Cup tie with Burnley at Oakwell.

The Tykes, who parted company with Keith Hill after Saturday's defeat at Peterborough, are expected to be looked after by assistant boss David Flitcroft.

Teenage winger Reuben Noble-Lazarus and striker Marlon Harewood are both pushing for recalls to the starting line-up after appearing as second-half substitutes on New Year's Day.

Barnsley will be without Jonathan Greening following the midfielder's return to parent club Nottingham Forest at the end of his loan spell, while striker Marcus Tudgay has also returned to the City Ground after breaking his collarbone in last Saturday's home defeat to Blackburn.

Midfielders Tomasz Cywka and Matty Done, plus defender Stephen Foster are pushing for recalls as the Tykes look to halt a run of three straight defeats.

Sean Dyche will run the rule over a handful of fitness concerns among his squad ahead of the trip to face their npower Championship counterparts.

Midfielder Dean Marney and forward Martin Paterson came off during the New Year's Day win over Sheffield Wednesday with thigh injuries and will be assessed.

Top scorer Charlie Austin is absent with a hamstring strain, while winger Junior Stanislas is pushing to return from a similar complaint.

If Stanislas does not recover in time it could pave the way for Dane Richards to be involved, providing international clearance can be rubber-stamped following his pre-arranged new year move to Turf Moor from Vancouver Whitecaps.

Defender Ben Mee remains on the sidelines with strained medial knee ligaments.
