Duo in Reds frame

Barnsley striker Chris O'Grady and defender Peter Ramage are hoping to return to the starting line-up in the home game against Bournemouth.

Leading goalscorer O'Grady started on the substitutes' bench in last week's defeat at Watford, while Ramage missed out altogether due to a hamstring injury.

Martin Cranie remains sidelined with a similar problem, fellow defender Bobby Hassell (calf) is still out and midfielder Jim O'Brien's season is over following surgery to repair knee cartilage damage.

Boss Danny Wilson has no new injury or suspension problems as his side look to bounce back from two straight defeats and climb off the bottom of the table.

Bournemouth hope to have winger Matt Ritchie available.

The former Swindon man missed the 1-0 loss at Charlton on Tuesday night due to illness but the Cherries' medical staff will assess him in the build-up to kick-off against the Tykes.

Meanwhile, Yann Kermorgant returned to action against his former employees having overcome a heel problem and the Frenchman could be recalled to the starting line-up.

With the games coming thick and fast, manager Eddie Howe could be tempted to shuffle his pack with the likes of Mohamed Coulibaly and Shaun MacDonald pushing to start.
