The Tykes, who have also landed Coventry striker Michael Mifsud on loan, have now completed the signing of three new arrivals at Oakwell on transfer deadline day.

Iran international Andranik, who arrived in England when he signed for Bolton in August 2006, switched to Fulham for an undisclosed fee last summer.

The 25-year-old has failed to make the first-team breakthrough at Craven Cottage after recovering from a knee injury.

Hammill, a product of the academy at Anfield and contracted to Liverpool until 2011, has had loan spells at Dunfermline and Southampton and made 23 appearances for Blackpool earlier this season.

Both Andranik and Hammill are expected to be included in Barnsley's squad for Tuesday's derby clash at Sheffield Wednesday.
