A Look At The Weekend Action

A thumping at Watford brings The Reds sixth defeat in eight games, to leave them just two points outside the drop zone….

………… Barnsley have now won just one of the last 13 and none of the last nine. It is their longest winless streak in two years, since they ended the 2009-2010 campaign without winning any of their final 10 matches.

One bright point was the 94th minute consolation goal for Marcus Tudgay which means the 29 year old Nottingham Forest loanee has netted in back to back league games for The Reds, the first player to do that since Ricardo Vaz Te 12 months ago.
