A Look At The Weekend Action

Long awaited debut of Mido but sixth defeat in eight games, fourth on the trot and three in a row without scoring keeps Reds deep in troubleā€¦.

……. Barnsley have now failed to win any of their last five home matches- their worst run at Oakwell in eight years.

The Reds tally of 15 points from 16 games is their lowest at this stage of the season since their first season back in the Championship (2006-2007) when they also had 15 points. It is also an identical home and away record from that campaign- two wins, three draws and three defeats at home, and two wins and six defeats away.

On a brighter note, it was after losing their 16th match of last season, that The Reds then went on their best run in eight years by winning four on the trot
