A Look At The Midweek Action

Third goal in three games for Cywka earns Reds late draw….

.......Tomasz Cywka has now netted in each of his last three matches. The last Reds player to do this was Jason Scotland last month.

Nine of Barnsley’s last 16 league goals have been scored by subsituutes.

The Reds also made it15 successive games that they have managed to score in. Their best run for 47 years.

Unfortunately they failed to score more than once for an eighth successive matches.

Barnsley had conceded a first half goal in only one of David Flitcroft’s first nine matches, but have now conceded in the first half in each of the last four.

This was only Barnsley’s second draw in 17 league and cup matches.
