Misfit winger Toni Silva has joined League Two Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
The former Portugal Under 18 and Under 19 international joined Barnsley from Liverpool in the summer but tore his hamstring in pre-season and has made just one solitary appearance for the first team, a 19 minute cameo at Hull in November.
The 19 year old has featured heavily for the Reds Under 21 Development Squad but will now get some competitive senior football with the Daggers, who are 17th in League Two, six points off the relegation zone.
