Yakubu signs new Barnet contract

Barnet defender Ismail Yakubu has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with the club.The 24-year-old has been at Underhill since the age of 11, and has made 265 appearances for the Bees. He made his debut while still studying for his 'A' levels, aged sixteen, against Northwich in 2003. Manager Ian Hendon told the club's website: "I was delighted with the way Ismail finished the season and that persuaded me to offer him this deal." .... read more
