Barnet manager Mark Stimson has appointed new signing Anwar Uddin as captain for next season.
Uddin takes over the skipper's role from Micah Hyde, who left the club last month, and becomes the first British Asian captain in the Football League.
The 28-year-old defender skippered former club Dagenham & Redbridge to two promotions before arriving at Barnet on a free transfer three weeks ago.
