Townsend: I turned down Bees
The defender, who had already spent the maximum 93-day emergency loan period with the Bees, rejected the chance to rejoin the club despite being made available by Robins boss Martin Allen.[LNB]The 22-year-old told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I know I can do a job at this level between now and the end of the season.[LNB]"I have been in relegation battles with the club twice before and I am not done at Cheltenham yet.[LNB]"I love the club, they have been fantastic to me helping me start my career and I want to get back playing to help the cause.[LNB]"I want to emulate what players like Lee Ridley and Josh Low have done and fight my way back into the side and help the lads fight out of trouble again."[LNB][LNB]
