Stimson waits on striker

Boss Mark Stimson is hoping to bring in a loan striker signing ahead of the Burton game after Steve Kabba was stretchered off during the opening-day defeat at Chesterfield. It was initially feared the experienced frontman had suffered a broken leg but he has only damaged knee ligaments and the Bees are hopeful he will not be sidelined for too long. Right-back Joe Devera missed the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Swansea with a leg injury and is rated 50-50. Youngster Reece Yorke, who has been sidelined with a kneecap injury, was due to return to training on Friday.
