Stimson underlines Elliot importance

Barnet manager Mark Stimson felt Charlton goalkeeper Rob Elliot was the difference between the sides in their FA Cup replay. Kyel Reid's 18th-minute goal gave Charlton a 1-0 win, but the Bees tested man-of-the-match Elliot on numerous occasions. "If we hadn't come up against such a good goalkeeper we'd probably still be out there playing extra-time," said Stimson. "He's a fantastic young goalkeeper and obviously being in charge of a team just down the road for a few years, you read a lot about him and see him a lot. "Elliot could go on to much bigger and better things, no disrespect to Charlton because Charlton are a big side but if Rob keeps performing like that then who knows how far he can go?"
