Stimson points to Anyon after defeat

Barnet manager Mark Stimson admitted his side had been denied by a goalkeeper in form as Lincoln claimed a 1-0 victory at Sincil Bank. The Imps grabbed their first home win of the season courtesy of Ben Hutchinson`s penalty after 16 minutes when Bees defender Joe Devera fouled Drewe Broughton inside the area. But as Barnet came more into the game they were denied time and time again by the on-song Joe Anyon who kept out Jordan Parkes, Mark Marshall, Steve Kabba and Phil Walsh. Stimson said: "We could quite easily have got four or five goals but we bumped into a keeper who was in terrific form. He pulled off some fantastic saves. We were totally on top in the second half but it didn't go in for us." Stimson continued: "We are better when we play on the front foot and attack teams. "At least here we can say we created chances. In our last away game at Crewe we didn't create anything. That was a horror show but the response from the players was fantastic."
