Barnet boss Mark Stimson hailed the character of his side after they came from a goal behind to see off Cheltenham 3-1 and secure their first win of the season. Phil Walsh scored twice and Mark Marshall added a third goal late on, and Stimson was delighted with the resilience his side displayed. Stimson said: "We conceded very early but credit to the players. They showed great character to come back and it's fantastic to score three at home. We have to deliver progress from last year after lots of changes this season. "It takes time but the big thing was that we had a fit squad with everyone available and we took game to them which is why we came away winners." He added: "We loaned Phil Walsh three weeks ago and knew he would give us more physical presence. He got in the danger zone a couple of times and scored twice. "It's fantastic here - I have a soft spot for this club having played here briefly. The facilities are fantastic and I'm just trying to get team together that can excite as much as they can and can one day take Barnet to another level. But that's all in time - the most important thing is to enjoy this win."
