Barnet captain Ian Hendon was upbeat about his side's play-off hopes, despite the Bees being held to a goalless draw at home to Scarborough.
The draw left Barnet a point adrift of the top five, with just four games to go to secure a crack at promotion.
He told the Barnet Times: "Nothing has changed from the start of day. We're still two points behind Exeter, but with just four games to go now, instead of five.
"After Tuesday I thought this was a positive performance. On another day we would have taken three points."
However, after seven games without a win and just three goals in the process, Hendon added: "We are a team here at Barnet and we don't go around pointing the finger at anyone."
