Barnet manager Paul Fairclough is expected to offer a permanent contract to the former Gretna defender Rhys Meynell, who has been on trial at Underhill. The 19-year-old made 16 appearances for the Black and Whites earlier this year before the SPL side's demise. Fairclough has already added one former Gretna player, midfielder Nicky Deverdics, to his squad since the end of last season. Ryan Hall and Karim Rouani remain on trial with the Bees, while former striker Giuliano Grazioli is currently training with Blue Square Premier League side Crawley Town.
