Leary making progress

Barnet midfielder Michael Leary is making good progress in his recovery from the knee injury which has put his fledgling Bees career on hold.

The 24-year-old former Luton Town schemer has already been out for around a month, but is hopeful of being back in action in mid-November.

Bees physio Mark Stein told the club's official website: "Michael is probably ahead of the schedule that we originally set for him.

"Sometimes, when he is so enthusiastic to push on, I need just to put the brakes on a little bit, making sure that we reach every stage of his recovery, before moving on.

"But I have to say that I have been very pleased with his attitude to the whole rehab process."
