Laszlo not bitter about Tynecastle exit

Csaba Laszlo has insisted he feels no bitterness about his sacking as Hearts boss and has even offered his services to successor Jim Jefferies. Laszlo, who was given the boot after 18 months in charge just over a week ago, plans to stay in Edinburgh for another two years and hopes to attend his former club's matches as a fan. The Romanian-born Hungarian has yet to agree compensation over the final 18 months of his contract amid reports the club will attempt to avoid paying out by claiming his repeated outbursts about the club's transfer policy and tendency to tout himself around for other jobs amounted to a breach of his terms of employment. His outspoken nature is what ultimately led to majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov wielding the axe. But speaking at length for the first time about his dismissal, Laszlo told Scotland on Sunday: "There is no bitterness from me. I wish Jim Jefferies all the best and my hope is that he can continue the work that I started and that he has at least as much success as I did. "I love the club. In fact, if Hearts asked me tomorrow to go back and help them I would be happy to."
