King's broken hand woe

Barnet defender Simon King will spend at least a month on the sidelines after breaking a bone in his hand. The 23-year-old picked up the injury in last weekend's game against MK Dons at Underhill and has seen a specialist about the problem. "It's a corker of a break," Bees boss Paul Fairclough told the club's official website. To add to Fairclough's defensive headaches, Ismail Yakubu's thigh injury is taking longer than expected to clear up. "Ismail is making slow progress. He's hit a recovery brick wall," Fairclough added.
