Hendon rues sloppy second half

Published: 14 Mar 2010 - 12:35:00

In a game that saw both sides reduced to 10 men, the visitors struck twice after the break to take all three points and earn a first win in four matches. "I said at half-time it was our game to lose and we went and did it," said the Bees boss. "They passed the ball better than us in the second half and it is very disappointing. "It wasn't good enough - simple as that. We were poor and that is not acceptable. The players are down and they should be, but we just have to keep working at it." Billy Kee's late winner sparked angry scenes at Underhill, with Hendon dismissed after a touchline melee. "I am not going to comment on the ref - all I did was try and pull my player away from the linesman and then I'm being sent to the stands," he added.
