Hendon confident of play-off success

Barnet captain Ian Hendon is confident that the Bees can find their best form and clinch promotion to the Football League through the play-offs.

The Underhill outfit finished fourth in the Nationwide Conference table and face Shrewsbury Town in a two-legged semi-final, but Hendon knows that runners up Hereford United are hot favourites to clinch promotion.

"Hereford have got exactly the same as us to show for the season," he told the Barnet & Potters Bar Times.

"That is over and we all start level again. It is a cup competition over two legs now.

"First we've got to see off Shrewsbury and then we'll see where we go from there."
