Hendon backs Bees boss

Barnet captain Ian Hendon has defended Bees boss Paul Fairclough after his side's disastrous start to the new season.

The Bees have lost all three games to date, with their latest reverse a 2-1 defeat at league new boys Accrington Stanley.

Hendon told the club's official website: "A lot of people have been letting their frustration out on the manager, but that is not helping at all.

"The team he put out at Accrington on Saturday had practised together in training and looked very sharp, focused and played some very good football.

"He prepared us all in the right way, but we let him, the club and all the supporters down."
