Barnet boss Ian Hendon hopes to persuade veteran striker Paul Furlong to remain with the League Two club next season. The 40-year-old has scored eight goals in 18 games for the Bees since his arrival on loan from Southend United and Hendon is full of praise for the forntman. He told the Barnet Times: "I'm sure he will play again next season. "I know he has enjoyed his time at Barnet and I'm confident I can persuade him to sign for us. "He's fantastic. I keep saying it every week, but he is so professional in everything he does. He is a great example to every footballer."
