Hendon: We were lucky to draw
John O'Flynn and Mark Hughes were the Bees heroes - cancelling out goals from James Hanson and Zesh Rehman to secure the point. But Hendon, who has now guided his side to seven matches without a defeat since their opening day loss at Lincoln, insisted they had ridden their luck. "I thought we could have lost that game - Bradford had the better of the first-half and there's no doubt we could have been more than one down," he said. "In the end we might have won it as we had a lot of chances at the finish but I'm more than happy with the point - anything more than that would have been harsh on Bradford. "There were chances for both sides but as the home side we should have had the majority and we didn't. "We are eight games into the season now and we said we would have a look at where we are at after 10 games as that's when you start to gauge things. But we are on the right lines and we've just got to keep going the way we are."
